Excel Merger      Download

This spreadsheet will merge multiple Excel spreadsheets. Just select spreadsheets that need merging. A results spreadsheet will be produced containing two sheets. The first sheet will contain diagnostic information on the merge. The second sheet will contain the results of the merge. This version has only been tested using Excel XP. Please note the download is an Excel spreadsheet and macros must be enabled for use. For security please virus check all Excel files that use macros. This spreadsheet does not contain viruses but I hold no responsibility for any viruses that might occur from its use.

Searcher     Download      Release Notes

This is a search program written in Java. It can be used on all Java supported operating systems including Windows. Please note extensive testing has only been done on Windows XP SP2. This program is not designed to be faster than the native Windows search. However it is designed to be more efficient in performing the search and more efficient in presenting the results. It is not designed to completely replace the standard Windows search but to compliment it. Java 1.5 JRE must be installed to use this program. Please read the release notes for more details.

VBA Unit    Download

Loosely based upon the JUNIT testing framework this supplies a framework for testing using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). This version has only been tested using Microsoft Excel XP. The download includes an example Excel file which can be used. Unit testing is used extensively in the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology. For more information see here and here.
